Very friendly and competent service staff, a nice atmosphere, the food was fantastic, very tasty burgers!

The restaurant has a nice ambience and a lot of money has been put into the inventory. But unfortunately the kitchen only offers the lowest McDonalds level. The manager chatted half a baguette to our ear how good and beautiful everything would be in the Metropolis (we just wanted to eat something in peace) My friend's comment on Instagram was deleted when she complained about her visit. The service was incredibly unfriendly

Very nice location, incredibly delicious pizza rolls with the homemade iced tea ? what more could you want? The staff is very attentive and friendly. The prices are completely fair and reasonable. We will be back! ?

The food was delicious. And really a decent portion.

The service was good. The waitress kept coming back to ask if something was needed. The hygiene concept is also in order: Entrances and exits are color-coded and separated, disinfectant dispenser, spacing possible. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. This cannot be seen in the pictures because the presentation of the food is good. First of all, I would like to highlight the side salad as good. The chicken schnitzel, for a proud € 16.90, is completely overpriced. For comparison: A veal schnitzel is available in much better restaurants between 21-23 euros. The meat was juicy, but tasted like it had been reheated. The sauce was extremely greasy, as was the breading, which was completely soaked. The burger pattie also tasted like it had been reheated. The meals did not arrive at the same time, which meant that one half could or had to eat and the other half only got served after another 5 minutes. Overall, we waited 45 minutes for about 10 dishes, even though it wasn't busy. Conclusion: overpriced food, which tasted of poor quality, long waiting times, but an efficient and friendly service.

We were there on Friday evening, almost all tables were occupied, we were lucky and were served promptly and friendly The atmosphere was great, value for money was okay We will be back

We wanted to go to the Metropolis Bahnstadt Essen again after a long period of relaxation. The lady on the phone could not tell us by phone what measures were taken regarding Corona in the restaurant. In general, the lady sounded very stressed. That made me so angry how negligent you can be.

Great ambience. And that's it. We sat down and immediately got the card. "Hello" or "Good day" was not in it. And then the wait started. Telephoning was more important for the staff. We had probably disturbed the staff while eating. The plates were on the next table. We also hoped to be noticed when someone from the waitress walks past our table. Well, after 10 minutes we went. Good job. We will probably not go there again.

When I came here tonight, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly, charming and attentive. I was also impressed by the "willless" cocktails! I would love to come back and highly recommend this place.

I like the place itself very MUCH staff is friend ly but the lunch. B u f f e t. Takes forever to get refilled. Typicaly I came 1 h after the buffet opened up again all the meat was gone. Half of the salat was gone. I had to wait 30 minutes for the refill. Good was oily. Sad no drink on the house no real apologies. Cook came out with a grim face. Sophia sadly this was my last time at your buffet

We have been there a few times and are very satisfied each time. The food tastes very good, the service is always very nice and attentive. We like the ambience very much and with a subsequent visit to the cinema, it is always a successful evening. The cocktails also taste delicious :-)

Tried passing off orange juice as a Mai tai had no liquor in it what so ever. Also the bartender tried giving me a daiquiri which was not a daiquiri tasted like straight gasoline.. it was brown..

For a “cinema restaurant” it’s simply the best one I’ve been so far. Great solid food for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. Edit: Staff has become quiet slow, and is either ignoring customers sometimes or just doesn’t seem to care that much.

Today an impolite waitress has served us in very bad manners. She has served salad, and 20 minutes later, after we asked for it, they served us the bread with no explanation. She did not even apoligise. Nice place but not nice service

It was there yesterday and it was delicious. Service was very friendly and always asked again if everything was good or was. Ambience is incredibly beautiful. However, I find that some guests also behave like guests and do not shout loudly through the local, that bothers us the try to end the evening nicely. Some guests did not enjoy a good education. good customer care

This was my table for over 25 minutes. My glass was empty before I finished my meal. They could have added over 15€ to the bill and had an empty table 15 minutes earlier.

WORST SERVICE!EXTREMELY RACIST! My worst restaurant experience in Germany! My friend and me and other friends have food and drinks ordered. And it took more than 10mins to serve one beer and one wine and there are less than 20clients in the restaurant. But that’s ok, tho we are in a hurry but we can wait. Then she spilt the source on the floor herself and the source is all over me and my friend’s hair and jack. Well, we didn’t receive her apology. But we don’t want to spoil our mood so we give her a go. And then she came back, I was laughing with my friends abt some jokes and she asked me with a very hostile attitude like: ist das lustig? I was blank out for a min and didn’t really understand what she meant. But then I realize she is being extremely racist and not polite. I’m sorry, I was generous to give her a go when she dirtied my clothes. But when she acts so hostile and not polite. I really think she is really not for this job.

Had such a good experience. Food was amazing and pocket friendly. They do need to improve on service though. It's rather slow. But overall was a good experience

The pizza was a total disappointment to me. If you like your pizza very lanky and not crispy, this is the place for you. I will not order any more here. In terms of taste, it was not that great either, and I know worse. The staff was very friendly, so 2 stars.

If there was an option to rate 0, I would choose it for sure. The homemade coctail for 6.5 euro was awful, small glass of a mixture of a lot of suger that you could feel it and supermarket juice plus one thin slice of lime. The cut of Tiramisu looked liked it was cut by hand. Not tasty at all! Never again! Waste of money!

it is a very spacious, nicely decorated place with average-good food, can be used for crowded gatherings. Unfortunately one of the staff is not very friendly. I am a vegan and i usually omit couple of ingredients and can still eat. As i was asking about some possibilities she got a bit agitated. I guess she wasn't happy with me asking too much or just didn't want to communicate. there weren't many customers around either, so there wasn't a lot of reason to hurry.

Buffet was sad looking, sauces dried up. Waiter was chatting on the phone, never said hello or took our drinks order, let alone seat us. After we had a look at the buffet we decided to move on...

Went for a quick bite and I have to say It was really nice experience. A bit long on the wait but nothing major. The food was really good and the service was excellent.

Fresh ambience, very nice and helpful waitresses, very tasty drinks and good food. There is nothing more to expect. The location is also not bad, right next to the cinema. You can taste that everything is freshly prepared and the eyes can also eat very well here.

Incredible food, friendly staff, if you go, have the steak! Enjoy the feeling inside, immaculately clean, well furnished, perfect place!

Is okay for a restaurant. Most of the food is frozen or ready-made (sauces, schnitzel etc.) If you are looking for a culinary experience, this will not be it. If you want an okay burger woth some properly fried stuff, you can choose this place. Funny to me is, that the starters are what I enjoyed most (pepperoni and the grilled feta). Pizza ist not really good though. But the espresso is supremely delicious (just as good as any I habe had from baristas in coffee houses). Aside from that you will find the interior to be modern and well thought out which makes just getting something to drink and talk quite enjoyable.

Everything about this place is great! Friendly and efficient staff, the cooks really make some amazing dishes and let me tell you...this pistachio/almond/citrus lemonade made me a better man...I’m pretty sure God made it and poured it himself! The layout and decor were wonderful and the underground parking with the Lux right next door only sweeten this deal...I’ll be a regular after this visit??
